East Wing of the Maidstone Museum
by Hugh Broughton Architects

This respected London practice won a RIBA competition to design the new East Wing for the Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery. The result — which includes two golden shingle and glass-clad extensions and a new gallery space for the museum’s Japanese art collection – is stunning and interacts beautifully with the original Elizabethan architecture.
